Hydrating body butter

DIY Whipped Body Butter: The Secret to Soft, Smooth & Radiant Skin

Deeply nourish your skin and boost its elasticity with this 100% natural body treatment.

Maintaining skin elasticity and softness is the ultimate key to a youthful, vibrant look. When it comes to deeply hydrating and pampering my skin every day, this rich homemade body butter is my absolute go-to recipe.

Packed with essential fatty acids and vitamins, it protects against dryness while leaving your skin feeling unbelievably velvety and smooth.

🥣 What you will need:

  • Raw Shea butter (unrefined & organic): deeply nourishing and skin-regenerating.
  • Raw Cocoa butter (unrefined & organic): restores firmness and adds a subtle chocolate scent.
  • Extra virgin Coconut oil (cold-pressed & organic): soothing and protective.
  • Nourishing botanical oils (cold-pressed & organic): a custom blend of sweet almond, jojoba, wheat germ, and argan (or olive) oil to soften, hydrate, and maintain elasticity.
  • Essential oils (organic): Neroli, lavender, sandalwood, or patchouli.

⚠️ Safety Tip: Always make sure to use non-photosensitive essential oils (avoid citrus oils if you plan to spend time in the sun).

👩‍🍳 Instructions & Storage:

  1. Melt the shea and cocoa butters together gently over medium heat in a double boiler (bain-marie).
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the botanical oils and essential oils.
  3. Transfer the mixture into an opaque container to protect the oils from light.
  4. Cool in the refrigerator until the butter hardens and sets.
  5. Ready to use! Store it in your bathroom cabinet and massage a small amount into your skin daily.
